Welcome To
Flora Farms'
Home of Ima Calico Leaguer
Flora Farms, a small breeding farm
started by Gene and Linda McCaig in 1999, is located approximately
twenty miles southeast of Memphis, in the rolling hills of North
Mississippi. The farm was named in honor of Linda's Mother, Flora,
who passed away on August 31, 2010 at the young age of 90. She
was a constant source of loveand support since Flora Farms' beginning,
and her loving memories will continue to encourage Gene and Linda
in the future.
We breed and sell performance bred APHA and AQHA foals, specializing
in breeding for quality, athletic ability, eye catching color,
and above all, outstanding dispositions. We combine speed, performance
and foundation bloodlines to produce the "all around"
horse.
Our horses can be traced back to such foundation greats as Easy
Jet, War Leo, Sunny Dee Bar, Bartone, Three Chicks, Shawne Bug,
Colonel Hotrodder, Colonel Freckles, Sugar Bars, and Go Man Go. |
